MotoGP Changes To Reduce Budgets

Raised concerns that the number of manufacturer in MotoGP 2010 season will be reduce.Basic concern, of course, the Kawasaki manufacturer withdrawing from MotoGP. Although the conditions for the year 2009 not provided a big impact, but for next season is feared if any team will follow the Kawasaki manufacturer.
FIM president Vito Ippolito said he is concerned that further withdrawals could cause major problems in 2010, and Ippolito believes the time has come to re-think the technical concepts behind MotoGP so that budgets can be dramatically reduced as listed below:

"The problem isn't 2009, when one way or another we'll manage to have a full grid, but it's 2010," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"There's the risk of more defections, especially among privateers, who could leave us with just 14 bikes.

"That's why I'll repeat to the Japanese manufacturers the absolute need for going back to the past. That is going back to the building and selling of 'road production prototypes', like the ones that used to be raced in the eighties.

Ippolito added that he opposed moves to create more separation between MotoGP and the supporting 125cc and 250cc world championships, and urged the teams and Dorna to plan for the sport's long-term future.

"The sport needs the FIM, as motorcycling can't be just business," he said. "That's why I'm openly against the split paddock set up by Dorna: the world championship isn't just MotoGP, there are also the other series.

"Innovating is fine, but we also need to think long term and lower the costs."

Ducati GP9

Major changes occur on the chassis material that is now using fibre carbon. The origin Italian team is already reveal a picture of the bike was ride by Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden.

Forward the tradition, new Ducati bikes name is GP9, continue the series of previous GP7 and GP8. And then create a new bike with a different chassis material with the previous one from a pipe frame to carbon fibre.

"Some changes we've made to the cycle part could seem more Revolutionary than others but in reality we continue to evolve the initial concept that we designed with the GP3," technical director Filippo Preziosi said after the initial tests in June last year.

"So it's not a change in the direction of development, but another step forward in the same direction.

"The fact we've used carbon fiber in the production of the chassis is not the most Relevant point, it is more the shape that is different from before."

"Last season was certainly exciting, with some great moments for us and others that were obviously difficult," said Domenicali.
"When you look at the numbers we won six Races, set pole position on nine occasions and set the fastest lap in eight Races. If it was not for Valentino probably the best ever, coming back from two difficult seasons and rediscovering the strength to have an Exceptional season, those numbers would surely have added up to a successful defense of the title.

Ducati have a big mission to achieve the world champion title again seized the Valentino Rossi. At least they have a huge confidence because of two (former) world champion that is Stoner and Hayden.

Nicky Hayden Already Love Ducati Desmosedici

Nicky Hayden will undergo with Ducati team in 2009. After he ride Desmosedici it seems difficult, but claims Hayden already 'loves it'.

Known have great power,Ducati Desmosedici appear as a bike that is not easy to ride. Thus at least experienced to two former riders at Ducati team, Marco Melandri and Loris Capirossi.

Both failed to show the ability that are equivalent to Casey Stoner on the Ducati team and finally out of the team. But Hayden's optimistic joining his new Ducati team can be better than former riders above. The statement about his new bike as listed below:

"So far everything has gone really well. Obviously I need to get faster in order to be truly competitive but I already love the bike," he declared.

"I can not say it's easy to ride, it gets pretty loose on corner exit but sometimes the engine is powerful and that is important, especially in a race situation. The chassis is nice and stiff so you get plenty of feedback and I like the feeling with the front, which is really stable in the fast Corners.

"So far we have only had two test sessions at Jerez and Valencia, which are tight and twisty tracks, and I think that at places like Malaysia and Qatar, it will be even better," he added.
